Slate Mate keeps a record of every film you have seen — what you thought, what you scored it, when you watched it — and lets you share that with invite-only groups and friends, without any of it becoming public.
Score a film out of 10, write as much or as little as you want, mark it liked, tag a reaction, and backdate it to the night you actually watched it.
Share entries with a group by tagging them. Groups have shared watch lists, leaderboards, and stats — including which films the group most disagreed about.
Add someone by their friend code and you each see the other’s full history. It takes both people agreeing, and either can undo it.
Minutes watched, favourite genre, best and worst of the year, a watch-activity calendar, and an end-of-year recap.
There is no advertising in Slate Mate, no analytics, and no tracking. Your data is not sold or shared with data brokers, and there is no public profile — nothing you log is visible to anyone until you deliberately share it. You can delete your entire account from inside the app in three taps.
